getMobileSetup

abstract suspend fun getMobileSetup(): MobileSetup

Retrieves the member’s mobile setup (onboarding) state from the backend.

Use it to decide whether to route the member through onboarding and which setup screens to present.

Return

The current MobileSetup state.

Throws

if retrieval fails — a failed fetch never masquerades as a fresh (isSetupFinished = false) setup state.

Android (Kotlin)

lifecycleScope.launch {
try {
val setup = AFCore.applicationSettings().getMobileSetup()
if (!setup.isSetupFinished) startOnboarding(setup.setupScreens)
} catch (t: Throwable) {
showError("Could not load setup state: ${t.message}")
}
}

iOS (Swift)

Task {
do {
let setup = try await AFCore.shared.applicationSettings().getMobileSetup()
if !setup.isSetupFinished { self.startOnboarding(setup.setupScreens) }
} catch {
self.showError("Could not load setup state: \\(error.localizedDescription)")
}
}
