Application Settings
AFCore.applicationSettings() holds the app-level settings that are not tied to a single feature: program settings and membership status. Use it to configure screens the way the member's organization set them up.
What you can do
- Read program settings such as the visit dwell time.
- Gate premium features on an active membership.
- Build the "invite a colleague" message.
Key APIs
| Call | What it is for |
|---|---|
getActiveFitSettings() | Program settings such as the visit dwell time |
isMembershipActive() | Whether the membership is active, as an AFResult |
generateInviteColleagueInvitation() | The invitation message for a colleague |
Example
- Android (Kotlin)
- iOS (Swift)
lifecycleScope.launch {
val membership = AFCore.applicationSettings().isMembershipActive()
if (membership.status) showPremiumFeatures() else showMembershipMessage(membership.statusMessage)
}
Task {
let membership = try await AFCore.shared.applicationSettings().isMembershipActive()
if membership.status { showPremiumFeatures() } else { showMembershipMessage(membership.statusMessage) }
}
